Welcome to High Country Cattle Services,  

Our family run operation is located 1 hour SW of the Edmonton International Airport.  We are proud to have been breeding quaity Simmental cattle for 40 years. Having grown up around commercial & purebred cattle and a dairy operation, the fundamentals of easy doing, production cattle with soundness and udder quality are the basis that we have developed our herd on. The herd consists of 80 Red and Black Purebred Simmental females, alongside a handfull of Fullbloods and recently Charolais cows.

We beleive there is no better breed than Simmental.  The diversity they have within the breed fufill all sectors of the beef industry. Cow families are very important to us. We select herd sires and donors that are stacked with proven cow families. Our stock are developed to show their potential and longevity. New genetics are continually sourced and used through AI and Embryo Transfer.
